Border Patrol agents have arrested an illegal immigrant previously convicted of sexually assaulting a child in Uvalde, Texas this week.
According to U.S. Border Patrol Chief Jason Owens, the illegal alien from Ecuador served 6 years in prison in 2014 for sexually abusing a victim under 13.
“Now, we need the AUSA to prosecute, the judge to convict, & ICE to remove him from the US,” Owens wrote.
The arrest comes after officials have warned that violent criminals from Venezuela are potentially heading to the United States after over 100 prisoners were released from the notorious Yare prison in the country.
