A video obtained by the Daily Caller News Foundation shows a U.S. service member watching over a group of illegal immigrants at the Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport in Atlanta, Georgia.
State Senator Colton Moore (R) took the video after learning through a whistleblower that the airport has seen a surge of illegal immigrants.
The video shows a man in uniform outside the door of the room with migrants.
Volunteers with the group “Team Libertad,” an organization assisting migrants’ travel, told the senator that they are “getting them flights to where they need to be.”
“These are just recently documented travelers getting released from [Immigration and Customs Enforcement] getting to where they need to be,” the man said.
As the senator says he would like to get a video of the situation, people shout “No! No, you’re not allowed.” Another individual can be heard saying, “You’re done.”
Moore told the Daily Caller that as he attempted to film, “chaos broke out.”
“That’s when the U.S. Army guy took the phone. It was a scrimmage between he and I in order to get the phone back,” he shared with the outlet. “And then he proceeded to tell me to get out of there and just made a real big scene out of it.”
