Biden Admin Blames Trump for Migrants Charging National Guard

The Biden administration responded to a video of a large group of single, military-aged male migrants charging the Texas National Guard at the southern border.

A White House spokesperson told The Daily Caller, “When the former President told Congressional Republicans to block the bipartisan border security agreement – he said to blame him for it. Well he got his wish, and the result was chaos after Governor Abbott’s Operational Lone Star and razorwire were overrun yesterday. While we cannot comment on individual cases, anyone who does not have a legal basis to remain in the United States is promptly removed.”

The video, described as “absolute chaos,” shows migrants assaulting Texas National Guard members before rushing past them to another gate.

According to The New York Post, some migrants said, “We have women and children, we’re hungry,” although most children were apart from the charging group.

Fox News correspondent Bill Melugin shared an update on the situation to X, writing that “one has been arrested so far for assaulting a soldier. More arrests likely coming for destruction of property & more assaults.”
