Florida Sherriff Criticizes US Border Policies after 228 are Charged in a Massive Human Trafficking Operation

One would think that a human trafficking sting operation which yielded 228 arrests would land the front page of national news or at least be on CNN’s website next to Fact Checking Joe Biden’s State of The Union Speech.  But, no, it seems that the only news stations willing to share the hard truth are local Florida Stations and maybe Fox news.  If it wasn’t evident that there is still a fight to control information, this is your sign.  The “open border” is advancing a crisis across American soil, and it is only getting worse.  Teachers, US Military, medical personnel, children and illegal immigrants were all part of this massive sting operation and the Sherriff of Polk County, Grady Judd had something to say about it in his press briefing 3 days ago, “Federal policy drives immigrant crime and victimization”. Period.

Every county in the United States needs a sheriff like Sherriff Grady Judd from Polk County Florida.  His satirical overview of the enormous human trafficking bust in Florida was truthfully engaging, driving the message that the border crisis is a mess and leaking into communities in ways we cannot imagine.  He called out the “players” in this “large operation”, that spanned February 22 to March 1, where 228 suspects ranging in age from 16 to 73, from across Florida and 11 other states were arrested in a human trafficking and prostitution operation.  Included in the 228 arrests were 66 prostitutes, 50 “johns”, and 12 “others”.   He reiterated that this “large operation” would not have been possible without the police departments working together and the heavy involvement from their embedded counselors – which are “as important as the detectives”.  Because of these counselors and undercover cops, they rescued an alarming “58 human trafficking victims in one year, which was the most ever”.

As he outlined the various offenders and victims, he was sure to echo the sentiment that the federal government is not doing its job to protect children and U.S. citizens.  He dryly stated that the “federal government will verify that this is not true”, but “all 21 illegal aliens said the same thing”. When they arrive in the United States, they are given a form of ID from the Department of Homeland Security that allows them to fly for free.  They then fly to major metro centers on the funds of the federal government (our tax dollars) where they set up their appointments for sex and then fly back.  He elaborated that these “ladies” are servants paying off debts, required to pay their human trafficker $3000 every Friday or they are “in trouble”.  They are allowed to keep any money past that, and they make a lot of money – “they are addicted to it”.  There is indeed a crisis at the border and in our country – victimizing illegal people and forcing them into the sex trade.  He concluded saying that “no one is paying attention and politicizing everything.”  The illegal aliens were citizens of Chile, Cuba, Guatemala, Mexico, Peru, and Venezuela.

Upon the arrested were married men and women, sergeants and other active Air Force, including a military police officer, children, 21 illegal aliens, several teachers and coaches, and one commercial pilot.  The felons said that arranging sex was called, “blowing off some steam”, “playing golf”, having a “quick visit”, and trying “something new”.  The sting operation confiscated 44 narcotics including methamphetamines, fentanyl, marijuana, and 17 firearms.  Sherriff Judd concluded his sentiments with a plea to the public, saying “You decide who you want to believe … these victims of human trafficking or the whitewash the federal authorities give you.”

Judd said if the federal government “can shut it off at 5,000 people illegally coming in this country a day, you can shut it off at no people illegally coming in this country a day. But the politicians are politicking while the victims are being victimized.  Shame on all of them!”  We should be worried about our children’s education, or lack thereof, not if the teacher is a sex trafficker or engaged in sex acts with illegal aliens.  We should trust our coaches to be decent humans, not worried about them being alone with our children.  We should be comfortable knowing that the pilot flying us safely to other destinations is doing so with no illegal motivation. The tentacles of this border fiasco are reaching all corners of our society and its time the major media outlets, and this administration stop covering it up.

The border is a mess, but it doesn’t have to be.
