That\u2019s not controversial, it\u2019s common sense. Just like we did with girls\u2019 sports, this bill protects women\u2019s spaces and rights afforded to us by Iowa law and the constitution.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s unfortunate that defining a woman in code has become necessary to protect spaces where women\u2019s health, safety, and privacy are being threatened like domestic violence shelters and rape crisis centers.
