And so what remains to be proven is the existence and extent of any financial benefit, again if there even was one. And so because I think it\u2019s possible that the facts alleged by the defendant could result in disqualification, I think an evidentiary hearing must occur to establish the record on those core allegations.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI think the issues at point here are whether a relationship existed, whether that relationship was romantic or non-romantic in nature, when it formed, and whether it continues,\u201d Judge McAfee explained, according to <a href=\"https:\/\/thehill.com\/regulation\/court-battles\/4463627-georgia-willis-relationship-disqualification-trump-case\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">The Hill<\/a>. \u201cAnd that\u2019s only relevant because it\u2019s in combination with the question of the existence and extent of any personal benefit conveyed as a result of their relationship.\u201d<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">NEW: Judge in the Georgia criminal case against President Trump says &#8220;I think it&#8217;s possible that the facts alleged could result in disqualification [for Fani Willis].
