The Democratic National Committee launched billboards in Grand Rapids, Michigan targeting Robert F. Kennedy Jr. while he is in the state holding a rally for his campaign. <\/p>\n

The signs criticize Kennedy for his Super PAC, American Values 2024, for taking donations from a former Trump mega-donor. <\/p>\n

\u201cRFK Jr. powered by MAGA Trump. Same biggest donor Timothy Mellon,\u201d the DNC billboards read. <\/p>\n

\u201cRFK Jr. isn\u2019t fooling anyone,\u201d DNC Rapid Response Director Alex Floyd said. \u201cHe\u2019s powered and bankrolled by the same extreme MAGA donor as Donald Trump, and Trump\u2019s allies have already called him a useful chaos agent in this election.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cMichiganders deserve better than a stalking horse for extreme MAGA Republicans,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n

The DNC also\u00a0filed<\/a>\u00a0a complaint with the Federal Election Commission last week, claiming that the Kennedy campaign is illegally coordinating with American Values 2024.<\/p>\n

Kennedy fought back on his X account, saying the DNC was falsely accusing his campaign of the allegations. <\/p>\n

\u201cThe DNC is accusing my campaign of FEC violations in the form of sharing state-approved petition formats \u2014 petition formats so secretive they are posted on our website for use by all our volunteers nationwide,\u201d Kennedy said. <\/p>\n

\u201cThe efforts by the DNC to suppress democracy, silence descent, and handpick our national leaders in smoke-filled rooms are radical departures from the core values of a party my family helped to build,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
