\u201cThe apostles said to the Lord, \u201cIncrease our faith!<\/em>\u201d Luke17:5<\/h3>\n

When Jesus taught His disciples that they needed to forgive seven times a day if they were asked to forgive. The disciples\u2019 response to Jesus was, \u201cIncrease our faith<\/em>!\u201d<\/p>\n

Jesus then went on to say that,<\/p>\n

\n

\u201cIf you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mulberry tree<\/em>, \u2018Be uprooted and planted in the sea,\u2019 and it will obey you<\/em>.\u201d
Luke 17:6<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

The disciples were thinking that they needed more faith to be able to forgive more; Jesus was teaching them that it was \u2018quality<\/em>,\u2019 not \u2018quantity<\/em>,\u2019 that mattered. Jesus wanted them to understand that it was their reliance on Him, the master, for faith that empowered them with the ability to forgive. Even just a little bit of faith!<\/p>\n

\n

\u201cHeavenly Father please increase our faith. Empower us with your Holy Spirit that we might forgive when we are asked to. In Jesus name, amen.<\/em>\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n
