A report from The Washington Post<\/a> claimed that the Department of Justice (DOJ) is looking to release a special counsel\u2019s report of Biden\u2019s handling of classified documents.<\/p>\n Special Counsel Robert Hur investigated Biden after it was discovered the president stored classified materials at his Delaware home and garage, where Hunter Biden had access, and former office while serving as vice president.<\/p>\n The investigation into Biden came as Special Counsel Jack Smith was investigating Donald Trump for alleged mishandling of classified documents from his presidency.<\/p>\n American Faith reported<\/a> in October that Biden participated in a two-day interview with Hur.<\/p>\n White House spokesperson, Ian Sams, confirmed the meeting, stating, \u201cThe President has been interviewed as part of the investigation being led by Special Counsel Robert Hur.\u201d<\/p>\n Emphasizing the administration\u2019s commitment to the process, Sams said, \u201cAs we have said from the beginning, the President and the White House are cooperating with this investigation, and as it has been appropriate, we have provided relevant updates publicly, being as transparent as we can consistent with protecting and preserving the integrity of the investigation.\u201d<\/p>\n Conservative group Judicial Watch\u00a0recently announced<\/a>\u00a0that it filed a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) lawsuit against the U.S. Department of Defense (DOD) for documents relating to a Biden staffer involved in the handling of the materials housed at the Penn Biden Center.<\/p>\n
