{"id":8065,"date":"2024-02-03T04:00:20","date_gmt":"2024-02-02T22:30:20","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/cccfornews.com\/index.php\/2024\/02\/03\/fani-willis-admits-to-personal-relationship-with-trump-case-prosecutor\/"},"modified":"2024-02-03T04:00:20","modified_gmt":"2024-02-02T22:30:20","slug":"fani-willis-admits-to-personal-relationship-with-trump-case-prosecutor","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/cccfornews.com\/index.php\/2024\/02\/03\/fani-willis-admits-to-personal-relationship-with-trump-case-prosecutor\/","title":{"rendered":"Fani Willis Admits to &#8216;Personal Relationship&#8217; With Trump Case Prosecutor"},"content":{"rendered":"<p> <br \/>\n<\/p>\n<div>\n<p>Georgia Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis admitted to having a \u201cpersonal relationship\u201d with prosecutor Nathan Wade.<\/p>\n<p>Willis wrote in a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonpost.com\/documents\/e0d2e50a-2f0b-4e32-bf0e-e9d2f79c3a79.pdf?itid=lk_inline_manual_4\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">court filing<\/a>, \u201cTo be absolutely clear, the personal relationship between Special Prosecutor Wade and District Attorney Willis has never involved direct or indirect financial benefit to District Attorney Willis.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Wade also noted in the filing that he and Willis had a \u201cpersonal relationship.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIn 2022, District Attorney Willis and I developed a personal relationship in addition to our professional association and friendship,\u201d the document details.<\/p>\n<p>According to the document, Willis and Wade were not engaged in a \u201cpersonal relationship\u201d in November 2021, \u201cat the time of Special Prosecutor Wade\u2019s appointment.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>It also reads that the \u201cattacks on Special Prosecutor Wade\u2019s qualifications are factually inaccurate, unsupported, and malicious, in addition to providing no basis whatsoever to dismiss the indictment or disqualify Special Prosecutor Wade.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Willis said in Wade\u2019s defense, \u201c[T]he truth is that Wade has long distinguished himself as an exceptionally talented litigator with significant trial experience. He is a diligent and relentless advocate known for his candor with the Court, and a leader more than capable of managing the complexity of this case.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Donald Trump responded to the court filing in a statement on Truth Social, writing that Willis was able to \u201cget her \u2018lover\u2019 much more money\u201d by going after him.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cFani Willis, the DA of Fulton County, just admitted to having a sexual relationship with the Prosecutor she, in consultation with the White House and DOJ, appointed to \u2018GET PRESIDENT DONALD J TRUMP,&#8217;\u201d Trump wrote. \u201cBy going after the most high level person, and the Republican Nominee, she was able to get her \u2018lover\u2019 much more money, almost a Million Dollars, than she would be able to get for the prosecution of any other person or individual.
