The union representing U.S. border patrol agents issued a statement of \u201cappreciation\u201d and \u201crespect\u201d for Texas in the ongoing legal back-and-forth between the Lone Star state and the Biden Administration and the state\u2019s efforts to secure the southern border.<\/p>\n
The National Border Patrol Council<\/a> (NBPC), which represents border agents and staff, posted on X Friday that they had no issue with Texas\u2019s stance and the stand it had taken in the ongoing legal debate to secure the southern border. The NBPC added that reports to the contrary were \u201csimply not true.\u201d<\/p>\n The NBPC made it plain there was no disagreement between the rank-and-file border agents and the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS), Texas National Guard (TX NG), or Gov. Greg Abbott (R). They also rejected claims that they would be arresting TX NG, calling it \u201cfake news.\u201d<\/a><\/p>\n This comes after months of legal wrangling between Texas and the federal government over state attempts to slow illegal immigration with a floating barrier, razor wire fencing and the TX NG taking over Shelby Park in Eagle Pass.<\/p>\n Last week, a U.S. Supreme Court<\/a> decision sided with the Biden Administration, granting border agents permission to cut or remove razor wire barriers erected along stretches of the Texas border. Abbott had argued that the state had a Constitutional Right to protect its citizens, and nothing impeded him from ordering the TX NG to erect additional barriers.<\/p>\n \u201cPresident Biden has violated his oath to faithfully execute immigration laws enacted by Congress,\u201d the Republican said. \u201cInstead of prosecuting immigrants for the federal crime of illegal entry, President Biden has sent his lawyers into federal courts to sue Texas for taking action to secure the border,\u201d as reported by the Epoch Times<\/a>.<\/p>\n Additionally, Ben Bergquam<\/a> and Real America\u2019s Voice exposed a document recently that proves open border communist groups are feeding information to illegal Chinese immigrants, directly adding and abiding a U.S. invasion, as they funnel through the porous southern border.<\/p>\n
