Robert F. Kennedy Jr. expressed openness to potentially running for president in 2024 under the Libertarian Party, as he actively pursues ballot access across states, according to remarks made on the CNN Saturday morning show \u201cSmerconish<\/a>,\u201d hosted by Michael Smerconish.<\/p>\n

In an interview with The Hill<\/a>, Kennedy, currently running as an independent, acknowledged the possibility of seeking the Libertarian Party nomination. \u201cThat is something that we\u2019re looking at,\u201d Kennedy stated. He highlighted his engagement with the Libertarian Party, mentioning speaking engagements at their conventions in California and New York.<\/p>\n

Kennedy revealed that his campaign had filed paperwork to establish their own party in six states to streamline ballot access. He affirmed his alignment with \u201cmost\u201d of the Libertarian Party\u2019s principles and indicated ongoing discussions with party representatives and libertarian groups.<\/p>\n
