The church was awarded $50,000 in damages.<\/p>\n<p>The church branch <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/gospelhotspot?igsh=dDlsMnVpbmpsa28=\">pastors<\/a> in the USA, <strong>Grace Ugeh<\/strong>, <strong>Kunle Ladipo<\/strong>, and <strong>Adekunle Adekola<\/strong>, had filed a suit against <strong>Ashekun<\/strong>\u00a0over a YouTube video.<\/p>\n<p>According to the suit, <strong>Ashekun\u2019s<\/strong> YouTube video portrayed the church and its pastors as sexual abusers.<br \/>While giving judgment in favor of MFM, <strong>Justice Theresa Adams<\/strong>, in suit number C-03-CV-22-004424 awarded $50,000 to MFM against <strong>Ashekun<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Reacting to the court\u2019s decision, the church counsel, Gilbert Gracia said that the church has been gratified. <em>\u201cChurch was gratified that the jury found in favor and vindicated our position\u201d<\/em>.<br \/>This was disclosed by an aide to the General Overseer, <strong>Collins<\/strong><br \/><strong>Edomaruse<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><!-- AI CONTENT END 1 -->\n<\/div>\n<p><script async src=\"\/\/www.instagram.com\/embed.js\"><\/script><br \/>\n<br \/><br \/>\n<br \/><a href=\"https:\/\/gospelhotspot.net\/mfm-wins-us-based-nigerian-blogger-in-a-defamation-suit\/\">Source link <\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries, the US branch has recorded a victory in a defamation lawsuit involving a US-based Nigerian blogger, Ashekun.
