There has been much debate about the first fruits in the household of faith. Some believe it was only mentioned in the Old Testament. Well, Pastor John Anosike<\/strong> has taken his congregation by surprise as he tells them that their first fruit\u00a0<\/a>is meant for him.<\/p>\n Preaching at his church, \u2018Spirit Revelation\u2019<\/em> in Capetown, Anosike<\/strong> informed his members that their first salary this year is for him not for the church.<\/p>\n According to the pastor who is unmoved by criticism, those who call him their spiritual father<\/a> should pay their first fruit this year to him.<\/p>\n Describing himself as the vessel and altar of God, he noted that his members first fruit is meant for him. This is because the first fruit is meant for his welfare.<\/p>\n Pastor Anosike<\/strong> ended his preaching with the promise that any of his members who gave him their first fruit would testify before the middle of this year.<\/p>\n \u201cYour first month salary is your first fruit of the year. It is for me and not for the church. I fear nobody and I fear no criticisms, if you call me your spiritual father, this first month\u2019s salary which is your first fruit of the year is for me and not for the church. It is for the altar, vessel, which is me. It is for my welfare. If you honor me with the first fruit of your first year, in the middle of this year if you don\u2019t testify come back I will give it back to you.
