TOPIC:<\/strong>\u00a0The Inevitable Appointment (Seeds Of Destiny 2 April 2024)<\/p>\n SCRIPTURE:\u00a0<\/strong>And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the\u00a0judgment: HEBREWS 9:27.<\/p>\n THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:<\/strong>\u00a0The consciousness of the inevitable appointment and inescapable judgment imparts caution to your actions.<\/p>\n MESSAGE:<\/strong><\/p>\n Our anchor Scripture makes it clear that there is an appointment, and also a judgment. This means, for everyone:<\/p>\n There is an appointment you must face and there is a judgment you cannot escape. Beloved, one of my deepest concerns is the way many people live on earth: they think they are going to live on earth forever. They are not conscious of the inevitable appointment and inescapable judgment. They are not conscious of the fact that we will all stand before our Maker one day to give the account of our lives. They live carelessly and recklessly because they lack the consciousness of the transient nature of life on earth and the reality of eternity. They waste their lives wallowing in sin, thinking they have limitless time on earth. No!<\/p>\n Our days on earth are numbered (Psalm 90:10, 12). Whether you would live for 70, 80, 90, 100 or more years, your days on earth are numbered. We have a limited time on earth. This is not a curse; it is the truth. Statistics reveal that one hundred and two people die every single minute.<\/p>\n Beloved, the consciousness of the inevitable appointment and inescapable judgment imparts caution to your actions. This helps you make it to eternity with God in heaven. ASSIGNMENT:<\/strong><\/p>\n PRAYER<\/strong>: Thank Lord for showing me the truth about the inevitable appointment and inescapable judgment. Now, what is this appointment?
It is the appointment with death!
By this, I don\u2019t mean premature death. That will never be your portion in Jesus\u2019 name.
However, this appointment is inevitable because of the fact that we will not live here on earth forever.<\/p>\n
As you read this message now, there are people whose lifetime on earth has just come to an end. There are those whose time will elapse by the end of today, and there are others who will not see beyond tomorrow because they would have exhausted their allocated years on earth. No one is here to live forever.<\/p>\n
Remember this: The consciousness of the inevitable appointment and inescapable judgment imparts caution to your actions.<\/p>\n\n
