<\/source><\/picture>For most of Southern California, the city of Burbank is famous for its legendary Hollywood studios, its unique local character, and its not-so-hidden jewel of an airport.<\/p>\n
But as of this weekend, Burbank became internationally known for its mayor who received a spanking from a man dressed as a woman.<\/p>\n
A viral video shared <\/a>by Libs of TikTok showed Burbank Mayor Konstantine Anthony getting smacked with a paddle on his backside at an event sponsored by the Santa Clarita Valley Democrats.\u00a0<\/p>\n WATCH: Konstantine Anthony- the Mayor of Burbank, California, received a spanking from a drag queen in front of children at a Democrat campaign event yesterday.<\/p>\n Full story here! https:\/\/t.co\/G6BudDFuGs<\/a>pic.twitter.com\/Dxb5bJ9Cuw<\/a><\/p>\n \u2014 Libs of TikTok (@libsoftiktok) September 10, 2023<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n \u00a0<\/p>\n While the initial post stated that Anthony \u2014 who is also running for a seat on the county\u2019s Board of Supervisors \u2014 \u201creceived a spanking from a drag queen in front of children,\u201d the mayor refuted claims that any children were present.<\/p>\n An unverified account under the mayor\u2019s name replied<\/a>, \u201cActually, there weren’t any children at this private 21+ event. But of course lying is totally on brand for you.\u201d<\/p>\n The video was apparently taken at the Sept. 9 SCV Dems Drag Queen Bingo event<\/a>, which charged $50 admission and included a disclaimer on the Facebook post that said, \u201cThis event is for ages 15 and up. Not suitable for children.\u201d<\/p>\n In a statement to The Christian Post, Anthony reiterated that no children were at the Democratic event.<\/p>\n \u00a0\u201cIt has been confirmed that no minors were present. All attendees were over 21,\u201d the mayor said in a statement.<\/p>\n The performer from the video advertised <\/a>the event with a post that read \u201cRoxy\u2019s Got Balls,\u201d adding that the event\u2019s proceeds would benefit the SCV Democrats.<\/p>\n Speaking at a Glendale Unified School District meeting in June, Anthony addressed <\/a>concerns from parents over school curriculum referring to families with same-sex partners.<\/p>\n \u201cI think there\u2019s a lot of misinformation out there,\u201d he was quoted as saying. \u201cI think people are being propagandized to think that there is more happening in the schools that there isn\u2019t.<\/p>\n In July, Anthony appeared <\/a>on a local podcast and defended the use of sexually explicit books such as Gender Queer <\/em>in school libraries in an exchange with a caller:\u00a0<\/p>\n “When you say sexualized ideology, do you simply mean a book that has a gay person in it?” Anthony asked.<\/p>\n The caller responded, “No I don’t. There’s gender ideology and there’s also sexualized content …”\u00a0<\/p>\n “What does that mean, someone kissing?” the mayor asked.\u00a0<\/p>\n “Have you read Gender Queer?<\/em>“<\/p>\n “I have read Gender Queer,<\/em>\u201d said Anthony.\u00a0<\/p>\n “You don’t find that to be sexualized?” she asked.<\/p>\n “No!”<\/p>\n \u201cShowing how to give oral sex in graphic format?\u201d she asked.\u00a0<\/p>\n \u201cIt\u2019s not graphic!\u201d the mayor replied.<\/p>\n This is the Mayor of Burbank, @KonstantineinCA<\/a>, defending sexually graphic content in schools tonight on the @wise_nuts<\/a> podcast. @gusdparents<\/a> absolutely destroyed him with facts, logic, and pictorial proof.
