Consistent and honest communication is a must for any relationship to grow and prosper, and that includes our relationship with the Creator of the universe. Through this act of communicating with the Lord, we grow in knowledge and the wisdom of God.\u00a0<\/p>\n<div class=\"swn-mop-premium\">\n<p>In a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=6E4n6GtKXA0\">clip posted on YouTube<\/a>, Candace and Kirk explain how and when Christians should reach out to God and why it\u2019s such an important act. Sometimes, as Candace points out, it\u2019s not even about what we say while praying that is important, but simply that act of praying.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cGod doesn\u2019t always answer prayers the way we want Him to,\u201d Candace said. \u201cBut it\u2019s so important because it not only connects us to Him, but it\u2019s just saying, \u2018Lord, I am dependent upon you no matter, no matter what happens.\u201d\u2019<\/p>\n<p>Also, in the segment, Candace admits that while she enjoys praying and conversing with God, she is someone who will not volunteer to pray out loud at big gatherings.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI am not one of these spiritual super powerhouse prayer people verbally,\u201d she said. \u201cLike, I love praying, but, you know, I\u2019m not going to stand up and say, \u2018Let me pray for all of you,\u2019 because, you know, I don\u2019t feel as confident in that.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>However, despite her apprehension about praying at large gatherings, Candace says that she&#8217;s seen God answer prayers repeatedly throughout her life.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBut I pray so much, and I see God answer so many things, including the smallest, tiny things, and sometimes really big things,\u201d she added.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Followers of Christ should pray daily.
