We will flog women in public. We will stone them to death in public.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThese are all against your democracy, but we will continue doing it. We both say we defend human rights \u2013 we do it as God\u2019s representative and you as the devil\u2019s,\u201d he stated, referring to Western nations.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cDo women want the rights that Westerners are talking about? They are against Sharia and clerics\u2019 opinions, the clerics who toppled Western democracy,\u201d he said. \u201cI told the Mujahedin that we tell the Westerners that we fought against you for 20 years and we will fight 20 and even more years against you.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt did not finish [when you left]. It does not mean we would now just sit and drink tea. We will bring Sharia to this land,\u201d he emphasized. \u201cIt did finish after we took over Kabul. No, we will now bring Sharia into action.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>American Faith <a href=\"https:\/\/americanfaith.com\/taliban-continues-public-stadium-executions-despite-human-rights-complaints\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">reported<\/a> that the Taliban has continued public executions despite international calls to end the activity.<\/p>\n<p>Amnesty International\u2019s interim Deputy Regional Director for South Asia Livia Saccardi issued a statement on recent executions,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.amnesty.org\/en\/latest\/news\/2024\/02\/afghanistan-taliban-must-halt-all-executions-and-abolish-death-penalty\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">saying<\/a>, \u201cWe oppose all executions as a violation of the right to life.
