Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) filed a motion to remove House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA).<\/p>\n<p>The move follows Greene urging Johnson to refrain from bringing the $1.2 trillion spending bill to the House floor. <\/p>\n<p>In a statement on X, Greene called the bill a \u201cChuck Schumer, Democrat-controlled bill coming from the \u2018Republican-controlled\u2019 House.\u201d<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">No Republican in good conscience can vote for the uniparty minibus.<\/p>\n<p>This is not a Republican bill. We had no choice, we couldn\u2019t introduce amendments, we couldn\u2019t fight for the values of our districts, and we had to vote on a bill in one day that had 1,012 pages.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThese are breaking our conference rules, this is not what Republicans want from a Republican Speaker of the House, and he\u2019s basically handed control to Chuck Schumer.\u201d<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Speaker Johnson violated our rules and forced us to vote for a bill funding open borders, abortion, and trans ideology for our kids.<\/p>\n<p>Republican voters deserve a leader who will stand up, not roll over to Chuck Schumer.
