Gateway Baptist Theological Seminary head Jeff Iorg has been unanimously elected to serve as the new president of the Southern Baptist Convention Executive Committee.<\/p>\n
In a Thursday vote, 60 members of the SBC Executive Committee chose Iorg. He will serve as president-elect until May 11, when he completes his tenure at Gateway Seminary in California.\u00a0<\/p>\n
