Texas evangelist Tony Suarez announced that he will hold a series of revival meetings near the U.S. southern border.<\/p>\n
The meetings will take place in El Paso, Texas, from March 21-23, and in McAllen, Texas, from March 27-29.<\/p>\n
Revival on the Border <\/a>is described as a \u201ctent revival.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cThe ONLY answer to the issues plaguing our southern border is JESUS!\u201d the website reads.<\/p>\n \u201cWhat I\u2019m contending for is that the answer to everything from border security to the human issue is Jesus Christ,\u201d Suarez told CBN News<\/a>. \u201cAnd, if Washington won\u2019t act, then the kingdom must act, and, so, that\u2019s why we\u2019re going to the border.\u201d<\/p>\n Suarez is the latest evangelist to hold Christian events along the southern border. Last month, Reverend Franklin Graham launched a 1,500-mile tour of the southern border. <\/p>\n \u201cWe are coming to the southern border because it is one of the neediest areas of our country at this time, and people need to hear a message of hope,\u201d Graham told Fox News Digital<\/a>.<\/p>\n \u201cEveryone along the border is overwhelmed \u2014 the churches, the law enforcement agencies, the residents, those there trying to help, as well as the people coming into our country,\u201d he said. \u201cThere are a lot of hungry hearts and hurting people, so I\u2019m coming to the border to tell everyone about God\u2019s Son, Jesus Christ, and how He can make a difference in our lives if we put our faith and our trust in Him.\u201d<\/p>\n As Graham\u2019s \u201cGod Loves You Frontera Tour\u201d kicked off, he met with Donald Trump, who was also visiting the southern border.<\/p>\n \u201cLook who I ran into at the border today!
