Pfizer released<\/a> the results of its clinical trials examining the occurrence of heart inflammation in children who received the COVID-19 vaccine.<\/p>\n While the results acknowledged heart-related symptoms present in some of the vaccine recipients, none were linked to myocarditis.<\/p>\n Researchers assessed the participants\u2019 levels of troponin I, which is linked to heart damage, before and after individuals aged 5-30 received the vaccine.<\/p>\n The clinical trial found that \u201ctroponin levels were rarely elevated\u201d and were similar both before and after vaccination. One trial participant, however, received an electrocardiogram after having chest pain and breathing problems. This individual also had high troponin levels.<\/p>\n \u201cNo myocarditis or pericarditis cases were reported,\u201d according to the researchers. \u201cThese findings did not provide evidence that BNT162b2 causes troponin elevations.\u201d<\/p>\n The researchers noted in the report that some of the participants\u2019 troponin levels were \u201cnot reported.\u201d<\/p>\n American Faith reported<\/a> that Pfizer\u2019s sales of its COVID-19 vaccine declined by 70% in 2023, according to a report to the U.S. Securities Exchange Commission.<\/p>\n Pfizer\u2019s total revenues\u00a0decreased<\/a>\u00a042%, down to $58.5 billion from $100.33 billion.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p><\/div>\n<\/div>\n
