The photo thanks all those who covered Jeremy in prayer as he underwent surgery to treat a serious heart condition.<\/p>\n<p>Life is truly unpredictable, and no one is immune to the curveballs it can throw our way\u2014not even celebrities.<\/p>\n<div>\n<p>During a Saturday night concert, things went sideways for singer Jeremy Camp. He went into what\u2019s called Afib (atrial fibrillation) \u2013 an irregular rhythm where the heart beats \u201creally, really fast\u201d causing all kinds of problems, including trouble breathing.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;It was affecting a lot of things\u2026It\u2019s hard to function,\u201d Jeremy <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/watch\/?v=7359565847464406\">explained<\/a> on social media.<\/p>\n<p>As a result, singer Jeremy Camp had no choice but to cut his performance short. He later took to social media to request prayers as he prepared for a surgical procedure called cardiac ablation to address the issue.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Singer Jeremy Camp Asks For Prayers<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/plugins\/video.php?height=476&amp;href=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.facebook.com%2Fjeremycamp%2Fvideos%2F7359565847464406%2F&amp;show_text=false&amp;width=267&amp;t=0\" width=\"267\" height=\"476\" style=\"border:none;overflow:hidden;\" scrolling=\"no\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"true\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>The procedure involved inserting a catheter into a blood vessel and then guiding it to Jeremy\u2019s heart. His doctors went in through the singer\u2019s leg in order to insert the catheter.<\/p>\n<p>Once it was complete, Jeremy Camp\u2019s wife, Adrienne, posted an update on social media, which included a picture of Jeremy giving the thumbs up from his hospital bed.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSurgery was a success,\u201d Adrienne <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/jeremycamp\/posts\/pfbid02TUGa3CJJQgYqSdEC72fDjdq3Lc7BYUBVjVWhnc5EoUMhuu7QM2oFoX6LoyGnQ9hcl\">said<\/a>, \u201cbut it&#8217;ll take a few months to fully heal.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Adrienne also took a moment to express gratitude for all those who lifted Jeremy and his family up in prayer, as well as for the care received by the doctors and hospital staff.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/plugins\/post.php?href=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.facebook.com%2Fjeremycamp%2Fposts%2Fpfbid02TRm5iR4Hmjae1UfpfYwx3Yq7hfexjjXG11j48BxUKYY4atb4Ud4jWKApCNvxPrkXl&amp;show_text=true&amp;width=500\" width=\"500\" height=\"706\" style=\"border:none;overflow:hidden;\" scrolling=\"no\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"true\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Jeremy Camp and his wife, Adrienne, continued providing updates after the singer returned home. Jeremy explained that he\u2019s been dealing with irregular heart rhythms for a few years, and this wasn\u2019t his first surgery. However, he hadn\u2019t gone public with the condition until the current procedure.<\/p>\n<p>With so many fans regularly offering to pray for Jeremy, the singer realized it was time to engage his eager prayer warriors.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cPeople always say, \u2018How can I pray for you guys?\u2019 And I\u2019m like. \u2018You know what? As a family [of Christ], that\u2019s what we do,&#8217;\u201d he <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/C4bPllXujRV\/?hl=en\">said<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Jeremy then went on to explain how, through this health journey, he\u2019s learning to fully submit to God. He admitted he\u2019s struggled with wanting to do things through his own strength. But this heart condition is completely out of his control, which helped him come to a powerful conclusion:<\/p>\n<p>\u201cRealizing that my life is in God\u2019s hands \u2013 literally coming to grips with that\u2026 Yeah, I can do the best I can\u2026 but ultimately, God is in control. And He loves us more than we even know.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Our lives will not always go the way we\u2019ve planned. Letting go of that illusion of control is hard and scary. However, Jeremy <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/C4bPllXujRV\/?hl=en\">explains<\/a> how it has helped him fully rely on God, which has only brought him closer to Jesus.<\/p>\n<p>Friends and fans alike cheered Jeremy on as he shared about his recovery.
