The main focus of the event is to introduce the Protect Kids California Act\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/dydrp8aHhS\">https:\/\/t.co\/dydrp8aHhS<\/a>\u00a0so that more than enough signatures will be\u2026 <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/hTa1K2iDsh\">pic.twitter.com\/hTa1K2iDsh<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Mike Netter (@nettermike) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/nettermike\/status\/1769376208205283530?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">March 17, 2024<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<\/div>\n<\/figure>\n<p>The event comes as educators across the United States are intentionally keeping information regarding a child\u2019s gender identity.<\/p>\n<p>In September, Parents Defending Education\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/americanfaith.com\/1000-u-s-school-districts-support-hiding-kids-gender-identity-from-parents-parental-rights-group\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">published<\/a> a\u00a0list of over 1,000 school districts across the country that \u201copenly state that district personnel can or should keep a student\u2019s transgender status hidden from parents.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>A member of Rhode Island\u2019s North Kingstown School District <a href=\"https:\/\/americanfaith.com\/we-never-notify-parents-of-childs-gender-transition-rhode-island-school-board-member\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">suggested<\/a> schools should \u201cnever\u201d inform parents of their child\u2019s gender identity struggles.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOn parental right to information, I don\u2019t think parents should be notified,\u201d the individual said. \u201cSimply because society assumes that every child has a well-meaning family.
