Kennedy has said he will officially announce his pick later this month, but a source commented that Kennedy and Shanahan \u201calign on numerous issues.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cShe might be infusing millions of dollars into the campaign to help fund the ballot initiative, which makes her attractive financially,\u201d the source said.<\/p>\n
While the Kennedy campaign has yet to comment on the matter, a website domain www.kennedyshanahan.com has been registered and a subdomain, pay.kennedyshanahan.com, is also live and accepting donations.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Shanahan, 38, is a tech entrepreneur in the Bay area and is a major donor to the Democratic Party.<\/p>\n
The attorney reportedly funded RFK\u2019s Super Bowl commercial replicating a spot that his uncle John F. Kennedy did in 1960.<\/p>\n
She said that she felt the ad spot was a \u201cgreat opportunity to highlight\u201d that Kennedy is running for president.<\/p>\n
