{"id":14523,"date":"2024-03-18T02:28:42","date_gmt":"2024-03-17T20:58:42","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/cccfornews.com\/index.php\/2024\/03\/18\/chicago-to-begin-evicting-illegals-from-shelters\/"},"modified":"2024-03-18T02:28:42","modified_gmt":"2024-03-17T20:58:42","slug":"chicago-to-begin-evicting-illegals-from-shelters","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/cccfornews.com\/index.php\/2024\/03\/18\/chicago-to-begin-evicting-illegals-from-shelters\/","title":{"rendered":"Chicago to Begin Evicting Illegals From Shelters"},"content":{"rendered":"<p> <br \/>\n<\/p>\n<div data-td-block-uid=\"tdi_82\">\n<div class=\"tdb-block-inner td-fix-index\">\n<p>Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson plans to start evicting\u00a0illegal immigrants\u00a0from the shelter system this weekend as there are currently 11,200 migrants being housed by the city.<\/p>\n<p>The policy has already been delayed several times since November due to the cold weather, but is expected to kick out nearly 5,600 illegals in the coming weeks.<\/p>\n<p>Some eviction exemptions are being made for those who have medical conditions, are in the process of securing housing or experiencing domestic violence or are pregnant.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIndividuals who are in the process of securing housing or outmigration, if there are other extenuating circumstances around their health or pregnancy. There are a number of people who won\u2019t be subject because they fall under that particular dimension of the policy,\u201d Johnson said.<\/p>\n<p>The evictions will be staggered, with 244 set to be removed by the end of March and 1,782 more are scheduled to be forced to leave\u00a0shelters\u00a0between April 1 and April 30.<\/p>\n<p>According to the Chicago Tribune, Johnson complained about the absence of federal support and has called on Congress to punish Texas Governor Greg Abbott for busing migrants to the sanctuary city.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\"><a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/hashtag\/Chicago?src=hash&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">#Chicago<\/a> set to evict approximately 6,000 illegals starting today and send them to the streets despite measles and other health concern outbreaks.  <\/p>\n<p>Looks like these Democrat sanctuary cities are working out perfectly.
