<\/source><\/picture>Elon Musk, the head of X, formerly known as Twitter, suggested that he may release a \u201cgiant data dump\u201d of communications with organizations such as the Anti-Defamation League, claiming that the Jewish advocacy group has repeatedly asked him to shut down Libs of TikTok\u2019s account.<\/p>\n

The report documented 3,697 anti-Semitic incidents in the United States in 2022, a 36% increase from 2021, and the data showed the highest number of anti-Semitic incidents since ADL began tracking them in 1979.<\/p>\n On its\u00a0website<\/a>, the ADL refers to the Libs of TikTok as a \u201cpopular anti-LGBTQ+\u201d account, accusing it of posting content created by LGBT people and liberals \u201cout-of-context,\u201d claiming that such actions subject these groups to harassment.\u00a0<\/p>\n Earlier this month, the X account\u00a0shared\u00a0images<\/a> on social media that purportedly show male employees at Disney theme parks wearing dresses while greeting children and families. One of the undated photos showed a bearded man outside the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique at the Disneyland Resort in California dressed as the fairy godmother from Disney\u2019s \u201cCinderella.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n \u201cDisney has men dressed as women, wearing dresses greeting children at some of their attractions,\u201d Libs of TikTok wrote in an Aug. 25\u00a0post<\/a>. \u201cReceived both of these this week from disturbed visitors.\u201d<\/p>\n Following Musk\u2019s takeover of the platform formerly known as Twitter, former New York Times columnist Bari Weiss released\u00a0documentation<\/a> from the \u201cTwitter Files\u201d showing that the Libs of TikTok was on a \u201cTrends Blacklist\u201d and was designated as \u201cDo Not Take Action on User Without Consulting With SIP-PES.\u201d Weiss said the social media company flagged the account to prevent its posts from trending and reduce its visibility.\u00a0<\/p>\n \u201cThe [Libs of TikTok] account \u2014 which Chaya Raichik began in November 2020 and now boasts over 1.4 million followers \u2014 was subjected to six suspensions in 2022 alone, Raichik says. Each time, Raichik was blocked from posting for as long as a week,\u201d Weiss stated.\u00a0<\/p>\n Twitter reportedly told Raichik that she violated the platform\u2019s rules by posting \u201chateful conduct.\u201d The social media account alleged that Raichik\u2019s posts<\/a>\u00a0criticizing body-altering treatments for kids with gender dysphoria encouraged online harassment of \u201chospitals and medical providers.\u201d \u00a0<\/p>\n Samantha Kamman is a reporter for The Christian Post.
