Failure to produce the requested documents within two weeks could result in the invocation of contempt of Congress proceedings, he warned.<\/p>\n<p>The Ohio Republican specified a deadline of noon on March 28 for Willis to fulfill the panel\u2019s subpoena.<\/p>\n<p>Jordan\u2019s initial subpoena, issued on February 2, focused on allegations of misusing federal funds. It requested documents and communications related to Willis\u2019s office\u2019s receipt and utilization of federal funds from the Justice Department. While acknowledging receipt of a \u201cnarrow set of documents\u201d from Willis, Jordan deemed her compliance thus far as \u201cdeficient.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Republicans on the Judiciary Committee have been scrutinizing Willis\u2019s use of federal funds, particularly in relation to her office\u2019s investigation into former President Donald Trump and his associates. Willis has accused Jordan of attempting to impede the prosecution of Trump\u2019s election interference case in Georgia. In response to Jordan\u2019s earlier request for information, Willis labeled it as an \u201cunjustified and illegal intrusion\u201d into a state criminal prosecution.<\/p>\n<p>In his letter, Jordan accused Willis of attacking a former employee who spoke out about the alleged misuse of federal grant funds.
