They are a true Enemy of the People!\u201d<\/p>\n<p><iframe src=\"https:\/\/truthsocial.com\/@realDonaldTrump\/112058087970558736\/embed\" class=\"truthsocial-embed\" style=\"max-width: 100%; border: 0\" width=\"600\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>The Senate will likely move \u201cslowly\u201d toward the bill, Senator John Cornyn <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nbcnews.com\/politics\/congress\/tiktok-bans-fate-uncertain-senate-less-urgency-act-rcna143162\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">said<\/a> (R-TX). \u201cI think it\u2019s more than likely that we will take up their bill and amend it and say we\u2019ve come up with some areas where we think it needs improvement. My concern is that if you try to deal with this by name, you\u2019re playing a game of whack-a-mole, because what\u2019s TikTok today, next week it\u2019s TokTik or TicTak or whatever.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe do things slowly over here, and this takes time,\u201d he noted.<\/p>\n<p>Leading up to the vote, American minors called their representatives and threatened to commit suicide if the platform was banned.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">INSANE: \ud83d\udea8 Another office is reporting to me that they have gotten suicide threats by American children who called to try to prevent <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/tiktok_us?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">@tiktok_us<\/a> from being owned by an American company <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/vbSg2kyC3J\">https:\/\/t.co\/vbSg2kyC3J<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Matthew Foldi (@MatthewFoldi) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/MatthewFoldi\/status\/1765800848829923783?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">March 7, 2024<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Representative Mike Gallagher (R-WI) previously <a href=\"https:\/\/americanfaith.com\/tiktok-is-strategy-in-cognitive-warfare-rep-mike-gallagher\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">said<\/a> that TikTok is a\u00a0means of \u201ccognitive domain warfare.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe CCP calls it \u2018cognitive domain warfare,\u2019 part of their larger political warfare strategy,\u201d he\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/selectcommitteeontheccp.house.gov\/media\/press-releases\/gallagher-meets-chinese-dissidents-san-francisco-ahead-xi-visit#:~:text=Once%20the%20front%20lines%20of,t%20really%20do%20propaganda%20here.\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">said<\/a>\u00a0during a press conference in November.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cCognitive warfare is not something we tend to think about here in the West. Sure, we have ideas like soft power, but they\u2019re not a national strategy,\u201d he said, adding, \u201cWe don\u2019t really do propaganda here. After all, there\u2019s nowhere in the world where you can find a more scathing critique of the United States and its government than in the New York Times or on Fox News on any given Wednesday.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>A recently released report from the National Intelligence Office discussed Chinese influence operations, including those on TikTok.<\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/americanfaith.com\/national-intelligence-office-says-tiktok-leading-threat\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">report<\/a> said, \u201cBeijing is expanding its global covert influence posture to better support the CCP\u2019s goals. The PRC aims to sow doubts about U.S. leadership, undermine democracy, and extend Beijing\u2019s influence.
