TOPIC:\u00a0<\/strong>Formed For His Glory (DCLM Daily Manna 12 March 2024)<\/p>\n KEY VERSE:<\/strong>\u00a0\u201cThis people have I formed for myself; they shall shew forth my\u00a0praise\u201d (Isaiah 43:21).<\/p>\n TEXT:<\/strong>\u00a0Isaiah 43:14-21 (KJV)<\/p>\n 14 Thus saith the Lord, your redeemer, the Holy One of Israel; For your sake I have sent to Babylon, and have brought down all their nobles, and the Chaldeans, whose cry is in the ships.<\/p>\n 15 I am the Lord, your Holy One, the creator of Israel, your King.<\/p>\n 16 Thus saith the Lord, which maketh a way in the sea, and a path in the mighty waters;<\/p>\n 17 Which bringeth forth the chariot and horse, the army and the power; they shall lie down together, they shall not rise: they are extinct, they are quenched as tow.<\/p>\n 18 Remember ye not the former things, neither consider the things of old.<\/p>\n 19 Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.<\/p>\n 20 The beast of the field shall honour me, the dragons and the owls: because I give waters in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert, to give drink to my people, my chosen.<\/p>\n 21 This people have I formed for myself; they shall shew forth my praise.<\/p>\n MESSAGE:<\/strong><\/p>\n Young Carol had been attending Sunday School in a local Church for a while. One day, she came to her mother after service and asked, \u201cMom, why did God create Uncle Tim when He knew he\u2019d be so troublesome and won\u2019t go to Church? Why?\u201d The mother could not answer her convincingly. The question of the reasons for man\u2019s existence did not start with the little girl and will not end with her innocent query.<\/p>\n But today\u2019s text answers the question of God\u2019s purpose in creating man for those who are sincerely searching for an honest answer. The Scripture emphatically affirms that God made us for His glory, to show forth His praise. But what does this mean to you? It means you cannot just live your life the way you like. It means you are holding your life in trust to the One who created you. Have you considered the beauty of creation and see that the entire creation, animate and inanimate, is to display God\u2019s glory? \u201cThe heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handywork\u201d (Psalm 19:1). He created all things, and for His pleasure they are and were created (Revelation 4:11).<\/p>\n When the first Adam fell through sin, it seemed as if Satan had defeated God\u2019s purpose. But God\u2019s original intention for man has been restored through the second Adam, our Lord Jesus Christ, who came to activate and fulfil God\u2019s great redemption plan.<\/p>\n But the big question is, are you fulfilling the purpose God created and redeemed you? You are here to fulfil a divine purpose. Therefore, identify and align yourself with that plan; pursue the purpose for living and live only to the glory of God.
