TOPIC:\u00a0<\/strong>Putting All Your Hope In God (Seeds Of Destiny 11 March 2024)<\/p>\n SCRIPTURE:<\/strong>\u00a0But without faith it is impossible to\u00a0please\u00a0him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. Hebrews 11:6.<\/p>\n THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:<\/strong>\u00a0Having faith in God implies absolutely putting all your hope and confidence in God, expecting Him to do what He says.<\/p>\n MESSAGE:<\/strong><\/p>\n Faith is a journey of trust, absolute trust in God by man. Having faith in God implies absolutely putting all your hope and confidence in God, expecting Him to do what He says. When you shift your focus from God to a man or a system, it is no longer faith.<\/p>\n Many years ago, we held a programme at the National Stadium, Abuja, Nigeria. Veteran worship leader, Ron Kenoly and other great ministers of the gospel were in attendance. We spent millions of Naira on the programme. Aside from other expenses, the bill for hiring the stadium alone was 2.5 Million Naira. In addition to that, it was mandatory to pay a caution fee of 2.5 million Naira refundable after the programme if there was no facility damage.<\/p>\n Before the programme, one of the commercial banks came to us and said that they wanted to partner with us concerning the program because they knew that the bill for the program was very high.<\/p>\n I asked them, \u201cWhat do you mean by partnering with us?\u201d<\/p>\n And they said, \u201cWe would give the church some money for the programme so we can be recognised as sponsor of the program. Our bank would advertise the program on billboards at the stadium throughout the period of the program. On the screen, we would be scrolling our own advert: \u2018Bank with us\u2019, etc. from night till morning.\u201d<\/p>\n So, I said, \u201cWho would take the glory for the program, God or the bank? No way!\u201d<\/p>\n Then I decided that even if the bank would bring all the money, we didn\u2019t need it. I decided that they should go with their money and their advertisement. Only Jesus would be advertised on the screen for the program.<\/p>\n Beloved, the program was successfully and effortlessly held because we saw what others could not see; did what others could not do; experienced the impossible, and only God was glorified.<\/p>\n The truth is, if you put your hope absolutely in God, you can never be disappointed in life.<\/p>\n REMEMBER THIS:<\/strong>\u00a0Having faith in God implies absolutely putting all your hope and confidence in God, expecting Him to do what He says.<\/p>\n ASSIGNMENTS:<\/strong><\/p>\n PRAYER:\u00a0<\/strong>Lord, I ask that You deliver me from any tendency to put my hope in a man or a system.
