Additionally, we continue to emphasize the benefits of wearing a high-quality face mask in crowded indoor settings and remaining at home if unwell.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHUHS considers state and federal guidance, along with advice from the University\u2019s public health experts, in responding to COVID-19,\u201d it continues. \u201cWe will continue to monitor public health data and will periodically review requirements.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Several weeks ago, Harvard <a href=\"https:\/\/americanfaith.com\/harvard-university-to-keep-covid-19-vaccine-mandate-for-students\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">said<\/a> it was keeping its vaccine requirement.<\/p>\n<p>Medical freedom organization No College Mandates shared the news on X, writing, \u201cBREAKING NEWS @Harvard ends their C19 vaccine requirement for students retracting their announcement several weeks ago that students only would still be mandated to take it for fall 2024 enrollment.\u201d<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter\"\/>\n<p>The news follows the CDC <a href=\"https:\/\/americanfaith.com\/cdc-removes-five-day-isolation-period-from-covid-guidelines\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">publishing<\/a> updated guidelines for COVID-19, treating the virus as the flu.<\/p>\n<p>The new guidance tells people to stay home if they are sick, but when they are feeling better and have been fever-free for 24 hours, they can return to school or work.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOur goal here is to protect those at risk for severe illness while also reassuring folks that these recommendations are simple, clear, easy-to-understand and can be followed,\u201d CDC director Mandy Cohen <a href=\"https:\/\/www.statnews.com\/2024\/03\/01\/cdc-eases-isolation-guidance-for-covid-and-other-respiratory-illnesses\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">said<\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p><br \/>\n<br \/><a href=\"https:\/\/americanfaith.com\/harvard-ends-covid-vaccine-mandate\/\">Source link <\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Harvard University announced that it ended its COVID-19 vaccine mandate.
