Psalm 85:6-7 [TPT] encapsulates this heartfelt plea: <\/span>\u201cRevive us again, O God! I know you will! Give us a fresh start! Then all your people will taste your joy and gladness. Pour out even more of your love on us! Reveal more of your kindness and restore us back to you!\u201d<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n The Cry for Revival:<\/b><\/p>\n The psalmist\u2019s cry echoes through the corridors of time, capturing the universal yearning for God\u2019s divine intervention. It is a plea for a fresh encounter, a revival that transcends the mundane and revives the dormant embers of our spiritual lives.<\/span><\/p>\n Tasting God\u2019s Joy and Gladness:<\/b><\/p>\n Revival is not merely an emotional experience but an invitation to taste the joy and gladness that flows from God\u2019s presence. Amid life\u2019s challenges, revival brings a supernatural infusion of joy that surpasses circumstances and finds its source in the unchanging nature of our God.<\/span><\/p>\n A Fresh Start:<\/b><\/p>\n The plea for a fresh start acknowledges our need for divine intervention. Revival is God\u2019s reset button in our lives, wiping away the stains of sin, weariness, and complacency. It is an opportunity to start anew, to walk in the fullness of God\u2019s grace and purpose.<\/span><\/p>\n More Love, More Kindness:<\/b><\/p>\n Revival is marked by an extravagant display of God\u2019s affection, a revelation of His heart for His people. As we cry out for revival, we invite God to pour out His love in abundance, to reveal more of His kindness that leads us to repentance.<\/span><\/p>\n Restoration Back to God:<\/b><\/p>\n The ultimate goal of revival is restoration\u2014restoration of hearts back to God. In the light of revival, we experience the transforming power that draws us closer to the heart of the Father. A divine realignment positions us to fulfill our purpose and walk in intimacy with our Creator.<\/span><\/p>\n Prayer:<\/b><\/p>\n Heavenly Father, revive us again! We long for a fresh start, a taste of Your joy and gladness. Pour out Your love, reveal Your kindness, and restore us back to You. May our cry for revival be met with the transforming power of Your presence, and may our lives be an advertisement of Your power to a hurting world.
