{"id":10220,"date":"2024-02-17T10:26:17","date_gmt":"2024-02-17T04:56:17","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/cccfornews.com\/index.php\/2024\/02\/17\/witness-says-fani-willis-nathan-wade-relationship-began-in-2019\/"},"modified":"2024-02-17T10:26:17","modified_gmt":"2024-02-17T04:56:17","slug":"witness-says-fani-willis-nathan-wade-relationship-began-in-2019","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/cccfornews.com\/index.php\/2024\/02\/17\/witness-says-fani-willis-nathan-wade-relationship-began-in-2019\/","title":{"rendered":"Witness Says Fani Willis, Nathan Wade Relationship Began in 2019"},"content":{"rendered":"<p> <br \/>\n<\/p>\n<div data-td-block-uid=\"tdi_82\">\n<div class=\"tdb-block-inner td-fix-index\">\n<p>One of Fani Willis\u2019 former colleagues testified on whether the Fulton County district attorney\u2019s relationship with prosecutor Nathan Wade should result in her being disqualified from Donald Trump\u2019s election interference case.<\/p>\n<p>Robin Yearti said during the hearing that Willis\u2019 relationship with Wade was \u201cromantic\u201d in nature and began in 2019.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhen I ask you \u2018personal,\u2019 you take that to mean romantic?\u201d Yearti was asked, to which she said, \u201cYes.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAnd do you understand that their relationship began in 2019 and continued until the last time you spoke with her?\u201d she was asked, to which she again responded, \u201cYes.\u201d<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter\"\/>\n<p>Willis\u2019 former colleague noted there was \u201cno doubt\u201d in her mind that the district attorney and prosecutor were involved in a romantic relationship.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cYou have no doubt that their romantic relationship was in effect from 2019 until the last time you spoke with her?\u201d Yearti was asked, to which she confirmed, \u201cNo doubt.\u201d<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter\"\/>\n<p>The witness also said that she saw Willis and Wade engaging in affectionate behavior before Wade became the lead prosecutor in the Trump election case.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Witness who worked in Fani Willis\u2019 office: I saw Fani Willis and Nathan Wade hugging and kissing before Fani assigned Wade the role of lead prosecutor in the Trump case <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/ALeyqqeY8Y\">pic.twitter.com\/ALeyqqeY8Y<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 johnny maga (@_johnnymaga) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/_johnnymaga\/status\/1758155759353766020?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">February 15, 2024<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<\/div>\n<\/figure>\n<p>Fulton County Superior Judge Scott McAfee recently <a href=\"https:\/\/americanfaith.com\/fani-willis-may-be-disqualified-from-trump-case\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">declared<\/a> that Willis may be disqualified from the Trump case.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI think it\u2019s clear that disqualification can occur if evidence is produced demonstrating an actual conflict or the appearance of one,\u201d McAfee said during a hearing.<\/p>\n<p>Willis and Wade have <a href=\"https:\/\/americanfaith.com\/fani-willis-admits-to-personal-relationship-with-trump-case-prosecutor\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">admitted<\/a> to having a \u201cpersonal relationship\u201d with each other, although they claim the relationship began in 2022, not in 2019 as Yearti described.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIn 2022, District Attorney Willis and I developed a personal relationship in addition to our professional association and friendship,\u201d the document details.<\/p>\n<p>According to the document, the DA and prosecutor were not engaged in a \u201cpersonal relationship\u201d in November 2021, \u201cat the time of Special Prosecutor Wade\u2019s appointment.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p><script async src=\"\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><br \/>\n<br \/><br \/>\n<br \/><a href=\"https:\/\/americanfaith.com\/witness-says-fani-willis-nathan-wade-relationship-began-in-2019\/\">Source link <\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>One of Fani Willis\u2019 former colleagues testified on whether the Fulton County district attorney\u2019s relationship with prosecutor Nathan Wade should result in her being disqualified from Donald Trump\u2019s election interference case.
